LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Ga-ram, who temporarily suspended her activities due to school bullying controversies, appeared on a Japanese broadcast.
On June 20th, the official Twitter account of the Japanese channel CDTV announced the appearance of LE SSERAFIM on their music broadcast. They explained, “This video was filmed in May so all 6 members of LE SSERAFIM participated in the filming.”
Earlier, Kim Ga-ram debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM on the 2nd of last month but immediately suffered from school bullying allegations. In response to the situation, the group’s agency HYBE/Source Music announced an “additional position on the suspicions related to LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Ga-ram” on the fan community Weverse on May 20th.
The agency revealed that they discussed with Kim Ga-ram then decided to let her focus on healing her injured heart before returning to group promotion and LE SSERAFIM would carry out activities as a five-member system for the time being.
Regarding the school bullying controversy, the company emphasized that all the allegations, such as “forced transfer”, “violence”, “underage drinking and smoking”, “leaving the debut group and ending a contract with another agency”, “slandering other artists”, etc., were all false.
However, even after the activity suspension, Kim Ga-ram still appeared in the August issue’s cover photo of the Japanese magazine “nonno”.
International fans also posted proof shots of Kim Ga-ram signing for them on Twitter, saying, “Although she is on a hiatus, I think she still goes to work and practice. There’s no need to worry.”
