Actress Jo Soo-min has been cast as the female lead in the new drama “Under the Gun”.
Big Planet Made said on June 22nd, “Jo Soo-min has confirmed her appearance in the drama ‘Under the Gun’ as her first work after the moving to our agency”.
“Under the Gun” is a high-teen noir romance under the theme of “Texas hold ’em”. It’s a mid-form drama with the motif of “K-high teen Tazza”.
In this series, Jo Soo-min will take on the female lead role Cha Se-young, a student who studies at a middle school in LA and dreams of becoming a pianist. Se-young in the drama is a high school girl who has a cute appearance, a cool personality and a good family. She will meet Go Geon (SF9’s Zuho) and present an exciting romance.
Responses from drama fans are already explosive. Jo Soo-min made an eye-catching debut through SBS-TV’s “Penthouse” last year. She is expected to show a new side through the work this time.
Meanwhile, “Under the Gun” is currently completing its casting process and will begin its first filming within June. Plans for the second half of the year are still under discussion.
